warm winter wishes

I grew up in a very small town, in a very urban area.  7 miles outside of New York city and in between the cities of Newark and Jersey city.  Our town was very quaint.  In the winter, out outdoor school stadium was transformed into an ice skating rink.  Everyone owned their own ice skates.  The girls had white and we would make big pom poms out of yarn, attach then to our laces and carry them over your shoulder.  The boys usually had black or hockey skates.  I do remember them being a very soft leather.  Seeing this digi from Free digital stamps.com brought back so many child hood memories of the rink.
  I colored using copics and pro markers and I used my nail polish art for the glitter on the blades.  I used Martha stewart punches and the cuttlebug embossing folders.  The bow and bling are from my stash.    For the Sassy Studio and simply betty  challenge, the old is my markers, the new is the Martha Stewart Punch.
