As you can see, I took advantage of the moving sale at KraftinKimmistamps.
She has the most adorable, interesting stamps and I am really inspired by her pages... I just wish I could do justice the coloring. I just can't seem to get the hang of catching the light in the right places, especially the hair.
I do like using the copics and pro markers equally.
I had the papers in my stash. I ran the green mat through the cuttlebug and used a nestabilities die for the frame.. still can;'t figure out how to get the embosssed line around the frames without cutting it. Some of the embellishments are from Erin @ 365cards.blog who gave away a generous blog candy.

Just visiting some of my followers :)
ReplyDeleteLove that image, it's fab!
A few tips for you (not that I am an expert because I am far from it! lol, but just what I found helps me after a lot of trial and error), if you have problems with getting the lighting in the right places (although your colouring looks great to me!), try shining a torch on the image at the angle you want the light to come from, then you will know where to add the shadows and where your highlights should be :)
In theory this is very easy, but I never do it myself nowadays lol. I always forget and then muck up the lighting lol.
Oh and the nestabilities dies, cut out as normal, keep the die in place, then depending what cutting machine you have (I have a cuttlebug) you may have to swap plates, but you just place an embossing mat over your die and paper before running it through. Then you will have a perfect embossed line on your die cut :)
Hope this helped
