Hi Everyone, back from a 9 day cruise to the Bahamas and it was fabulous! My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary and my 50th birthday aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. The bad news..... the ship had some minor engine troubles, so they cancelled some of the ports and excursions and changed most of the itinerary.
The Good news......They refunded all of our money! So we got a free 9 day cruise! Even better news is that I really did not care about the ports or excursions anyway. To me, cruising is about the ship's experience and not the destinations. You always seem to end up somewhere in a tacky shopping emporium with the same old camera/liquor/beach gear/jewelry/rum cake stores.
This is exactly the kind of scale I need after 9 days at sea and frequent trips to the windjammer buffet and the My fair Lady dining room. Kudos to Royal Caribbean, in light of all the cruise ship disasters, they handled this very well.
This card is being sent to my dear cousin who just started WW. I used a freebie from http://scribblesbysandy.blogspot.com/search/label/freebies She has some really cute digis and fabulous sentiments.
I colored her using copics and pro markers. I cut her out with a nestabilities die and also used the smaller one for the sentiment. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the boarder paper and the papers were from DCWV. The flowers were from Michael s' dollar bin.
